The change in volume is visible immediately after the breast reduction. The breasts are reduced, become perfectly symmetrical and are positioned higher. However, the final result will be more noticeable after eight to twelve weeks, once the edema has subsided. You can resume gentle activity two to three days after the procedure and execute greater physical efforts after seven to ten days, except for vigorous movements of the arms. You will need to wear a sports bra to stabilize and support the chest for about four to six weeks while it recovers.
Scars should be rigorously protected from the sun for three to nine months and will fade. The result is final. Be careful, however, of significant weight loss after the procedure, which can make the breasts saggy.
Well in her head and at ease in her body, the woman feels lighter and freer to move. She dresses as she wishes, can play all sports and regains total comfort in the back, shoulders and neck. She regains self-confidence in her private life and avoids the looks and comments often out of place on her chest.
